Important : We recommend that you read the booking conditions carefully before booking your holiday.
1. How To Book
After reading the booking conditions, please complete the booking form. and send it to us with a non-refundable deposit of NZ$ 500. A confirmation letter will be sent on receipt of your deposit. The Company will take receipt of deposit as an understanding that the participant has checked their confirmed travel arrangements and has read and agrees to abide by the terms and conditions set forth in this offer. Please note the deposit is non refundable, except in instances when we cancel the holiday or express our inability to operate it.
It is a condition of booking one of our tours that travelers are adequately insured for the full duration of their travel arrangements in respect of illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and curtailment.
We are able to offer you suitable travel insurance through ACE Insurance (For citizens of New Zealand).
The tour cost is price per person on twin share basis for double rooms and a business class airfare from New Zealand to India.
4. Price Guarantee
Should the costs change due to major currency fluctuations or increase airfares due to an increase in fuel prices, it may be necessary to make a surcharge on the price of your holiday. However no surcharge in respect to cost of currency fluctuations will be made to the arrangements of your holiday once full payment has been received by The Royal Heritage Ltd. This does not apply to any tax charges or levies imposed by any government or their agencies.
Should you wish to alter your arrangements after your original booking, you should notify us in writing and we will try to accommodate you. However, due to extra administrative costs involved, we may be obliged to make a charge of NZ$30 per amendment. Amendments within 60 days of departure are subject to cancellation fees as below.
6. Cancellations And Refunds - Land Arrangements
If it is necessary to cancel your holiday the following cancellation fees per person per arrangement apply.
60 days or more before departure: Loss of deposit 25% of the tour cost.
Less than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit Up to 50% of the tour cost.
Less than 30 days before departure: Loss of deposit Up to 100% of the tour cost.
Less than 14 days before departure: Loss of deposit 100% of the tour cost.
Cancellations fees for some items may vary from those stated above.
Please check with The Royal Heritage Ltd at time of booking.
Regrettably cancellation charges cannot be waived. There will be no exceptions. No refunds on unused services after departure from original city.
Please note that employees of any overseas suppliers are not authorized by The Royal Heritage Limited to give any undertakings to our clients in respect of refunds or other matters
7. Consumer Claims
Should you encounter any problems on your holiday it is always better to try and solve it directly with the supplier. If it is not possible to do so and you wish to lodge a complaint please do so in writing within 30 days of completing your tour.
8. Not Included In The Tour Cost
Visas, insurance, excess baggage over 20kg / 30kg (domestic & international), extra meals, laundry, drinks, souvenirs and items of a personal nature. All prepaid airfare taxes and surcharges are clearly identified if not included in the tour price.
9. Changes In Prices And Itineraries
Considerable care has been taken to compile the information for the tour but unforeseen circumstances may necessitate changes in itineraries and costs in which case you will be informed as soon as possible. The Royal Heritage Limited cannot be held responsible for any changes, which may occur and reserves the right to increase the price of any travel arrangement up to the date of departure. This includes adjustment for devaluation fuel surcharges, airfare increases as well as international exchange rate fluctuations.
10. Holiday Variations
If unforeseen circumstances beyond our control require us to make necessary changes to your holiday we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule departures and itineraries. When it is necessary to change a hotel the company reserves the right to substitute accommodation of at least a similar standard.
11. Hotel Descriptions, Maps And Photographs
Hotel descriptions featured in the information pack is based on current hotel guides and contractual agreements provided by suppliers.
Any facilities described are subject to change at any time. Maps and photographs are inducted for general information and may not necessarily reflect actual routings, location or services. Hotel room photographs may not be specific to the actual room occupied.
12. Passport, Visa And Vaccinations
It is mandatory that you familiarize yourself with any visa and health requirements that may be applicable in the countries you are visiting. You are responsible for all entry, exit, health and any other documents required by law, regulations, orders, demands or requirements of countries visited or transited. Please note that passport and visa requirements are not the responsibility of The Royal Heritage Ltd. and cannot be held liable for any loss or expense due to the failure to comply with the above.
13. Business Purposes
You agree that where our services are acquired for business purpose, or where you hold yourself out as acquiring our services for business purposes, the Consumer's Guarantee Act 1993 will not apply to any supply of goods or services made under these conditions and we will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage of any kind to you, including any consequential loss or damage however it may be caused.
The Royal Heritage Limited (herewith called the Company) accepts bookings subject to the following conditions.
i. The Royal Heritage Limited acts as a coordinator for all persons taking the tour in the making of all arrangements for transportation sightseeing and hotel accommodations.
The Royal Heritage Limited does not own, manage, control or operate any transportation vehicle, any hotel or restaurant or any other supplier of services. All coupons receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers and all services are subject to the laws of the country where the services are provided.
ii. A booking is accepted only after the Company receives the deposit and issues the client or their travel agent confirmation invoices. The balance must be paid no later than 60 days before departure otherwise the Company will treat the booking as cancelled regardless of whether a deposit is being held.
The Company only acts as an agent for the owners, contractors and suppliers of transportation and/or other related travel services provided and assume no responsibility for the loss or damage to baggage, property or for injury, illness or death or for any damages or claims however so caused arising directly or indirectly from accidents. loss or damage to person or property, delays, transport failures, strikes, wars and uprisings or acts of God etc over which we have no control. Clients are strongly advised to insure adequately for the full duration of their travel; arrangements in respect of illness, injury, death, baggage and personal effects.
iii. While the Company will use its best endeavors to operate all tours as advertised reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made without notice where deemed necessary or advisable by the Company. No refund will be made for any unused services, which are included in the tour price.
iv. The information in the travel pack including pricing is correct to the best of the Company's knowledge at the time of print. The Company however accepts no liability for innocent inaccuracies contained herein.
15. Legal Claims
The laws of New Zealand will govern any claims or legal action in connection with the provision of our services to you. Any claim or legal action against the Suppliers is likely to be subject to the terms of your contract with them, and may be governed by the laws of other countries.
